Working from home is not always easy, regardless of what form of work you are doing. There are so many distractions and it can be hard to find motivation to get anything done. I have had this over the last couple of weeks. I wouldn't say I have done nothing as I have still done bits here and there, but I have been far less organised and productive than I normally am.
After a very busy February, perhaps I needed to just sit back a bit and process all that had happened. One advantage of being your own boss, is that you can do this if you want to! This thinking time also allows me to assess what has been working and to plan as well. My aim is to always work consistently as this is what moves my business forwards, but now and again I think I also need to ease off a little and take some time to recharge my batteries! So what do I have coming up in April? Lots of Fairs and events are planned in, so I am going to be out and about quite a lot. I also have a home event planned, an Information Morning where anyone is welcome to drop in and find out more about my work from home business. I also have the Easter Holidays coming up, so occupying the children is also going to be high on the list! Perhaps even a few days away with the kids for us all to recharge might be in order! www.facebook.com/diaryofaworkathomemum
