This week is half term. I have been enjoying time with the kiddies, with a couple of days of sunshine! Today I am at home, doing a little paperwork and housework. Tomorrow I am looking forward to meeting up with an old friend!
During the holidays I obviously get less work done, but some things can still be done and indeed should be done to keep things ticking along. I catch up with emails and paperwork in the evenings, after the kids bedtime. I spend half an hour scheduling some posts to my Facebook page, so I keep the page going even though I am actually out and about and not on Facebook. If I get a chance to post something else during the day I do, but I don't have to worry if not as the scheduled posts will still happen. If I can, I then spend a couple of evenings networking, again after bedtime. And I get organised! I always have my backpack of work with me so if a chance arises I can catch up on some reading, learning, planning or paperwork. So working from home is flexible and means I don't have to pay for childcare during the holidays! But the hardest thing for me is accepting you will get less done and letting it go! www.facebook.com/diaryofaworkathomemum
